Davina Longsdon was personally recommended to talk to jonwallacedesign when she decided she wanted a new website to promote her new canape catering company. Following initial discussions about the kind of website that would be suitable to promote the new business we set about creating a mouth-watering user experience to provide website users with a good balance of background information about Davina, her team and some examples of catering projects delivered to date.
Following an initial information architecture phase, where we laid out the website in responsive format - we moved into the design phase where we enhanced the previous Davina Longsdon branding to give us a high-end and professional looking foundation on which to create the main body of the website. The website heavily features mouth-watering photography of the fantastic canapes Davina creates, within a simple and un-complicated layout with some traditional typefaces and muted colours: creating an elegant and sophisticated looking responsive website, which is simple to navigate.
Jon has helped create a beautiful website for my catering company. Throughout the entire process Jon acted in a very professional and was incredibly patient. I needed a website that was clean and simple giving future clients a window into what I do. Jon created something that was both fresh and smart, incorporating everything I asked for from the right fonts and colours using an easy to use and read layout. He has been very supportive in showing me how to edit the site, never failing to be at the end of the phone or even meet in person. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
