Planning, architecture, design and build of the gorgeous new portfolio showcase website for Good London Builders
Good London Builders had a website that was failing to deliver on many levels. The brief was to start from scratch on a radical new concept, which would better represent Good London Builders as an established, high-end team of project managers for the building trade. The new site needed to render well on desktop, tablet and mobile in a consistent manner - another shortcoming of the previous website.
jonwallacedesign - digital design studio worked with Good London Builders to plan and architect the new website structure carefully. Following this initial phase we moved on to the design stage, creating a sophisticated and premium UI, which befits the Good London Builders’ brand. The new website was then built out using a bespoke CMS solution, which enabled each section to be custom built to the exact needs of the client. The new site is the perfect tool to allow Good London Builders to showcase their great building work; to maximise this we created a fullscreen background HERO carousel of images, which slowly rotate through the stunning photography of each case study. The site also illustrates the processes used by the team for each building project and includes testimonials, press clippings and a shot enquiry form for interested users to get in touch. The site was optimised to downscale appropriately and work well with a consistent appearance across all browsers and devices.
