Branding
Branding and corporate stationery design work for personal stylist and London personal shopper, Mrs Stylist
Emma Gordon was personally recommended to jonwallacedesign when she decided to take the plunge and start her own personal stylist and shopping business. Emma came to us with a requirement for us to create all the fundamental digital elements to create a brand and give her a presence on the web so she could begin operating as Mrs Stylist - offering personal shopping and styling help to clients across the London area. Emma wanted a brand / logo which was contemporary, high-end and easily recognisable, standing apart from the competition. We started working on some initial font suggestions and quickly narrowed down the options to the lovely condensed and tall capitalised font you see above. With the font style agreed - we began working on a range of icon elements which could sit alongside / integrate into the Mrs Stylist text element of the logo.
We designed a range of icon elements which could sit alongside / inside the text element of the logo, these were all connected to the fashion industry in some way - pretty quickly we established that the zipper was something that resonated well both with Emma and also the fashion element of the business. We developed the zipper icon to eventually operate as a replacement Y element of the Y in the Stylist part of the logo - giving us an icon integrated inside the text element of the logo which works really well to promote the new personal stylist / shopping services Emma offers. The logo was agreed to work either out of, or in a deep royal blue to operate as a very strong and distinguished brand mark.
As my personal styling business evolved I needed a website which would work across all platforms and a logo which would represent my business well and could be used across different media. Jon listened to my brief and designed different options and styles of logo which I could choose from and ensured that my website had the functionality which I needed not only for now but also for my future needs. I was so thrilled with what was produced from my initial brief I recently asked jonwallacedesign to create and produce another logo and holding page for my Personal Styling events.
I would have no hesitation in recommending jonwallacedesign.
