Beautifully hand drawn illustration work for The Vintage Hamper Company branding
The Vintage Hamper Company was setup by Cathy Hughes following many years of collecting vintage English china. The Vintage Hamper Company enables collectors to purchase from Cathy's extensive collection of tea sets and picnic hampers. Cathy wanted the new branding to represent the beautiful china pieces in a logo which would act as a timeless piece to sit into all the branded marketing associated with the online shop and other printed materials.
The logo that was created features a set of beautiful hand drawn/illustrated china tea cups which reflect perfectly some of the stunning pieces from Cathy's collection. Sitting alongside the illustrated china tea cups is the logo typography which uses an elegant, flowing font mirroring the strokes and styling of the tea cup illustrations. The logo was used in a range of marketing situations including the new website we also designed and delivered, a set of gorgeous business cards and some A6 postcard leaflets created to raise brand awareness at local trade fairs.
Having worked with Jon in the past in the launching a holiday rental cottage, and having been very pleased with our collaboration, it was a simple decision to work with him again on the artwork, branding, and web-site construction for my new e-commerce business.
This time the process was more complex - setting on the LOGO/ branding took a little longer but he worked incredibly hard and patiently to produce designs until we found just the right artwork – and I am delighted with the result.
On the content and build of the website his work was excellent – and the support (and again patience) both during and after the process was and still is exceptional. To say I am not a digital native is an understatement.
I would certainly recommend working with Jon – he is extremely professional, diligent and easy to work with.
